Here are the most important parts of a circular saw:
- Power trigger: Squeezing the trigger will start the blade.
- Handle: Hold the circular saw with the handle.
- Trigger lock switch: A safe switch that doesn’t allow the blade to start even if you press the trigger.
- Front grip: Allows your other hand to guide the blade as it cuts the line.
- Blade guard: This is a retractable guard which covers the blade while the saw is not operating. Lift the guard when you want to use the blade using the tab on the side.
- Shoe: Efficiently the base of the saw, it is made of metal and it is rectangular in shape. It’s placed at the top of the cutting material.
- Depth Lock Knob: Make this knob loose to adjust the depth of the blade.
- Bevel Adjusting Knob: It helps loosen the foam sheet cutting machine between the blade and the shoe.
